EPA VOA Vials
QEC's open top and closed top VOA vials are prepared to meet or exceed EPA standards for volatile organic sampling. Open top vials may be used directly in many automated purge and trap instruments. Clear or amber glass vials are available in three sizes, 20mL, 40mL and 60mL. Premium Foam-Pack 40mL vials include foam 9-vial shipping containers for secure transport.

LEVEL 3: Pre-cleaned to EPA standards, w/ Certificate of Analysis


Open Top VOA Vials
VOA VIALS are most often used for volatile organic compound analysis. Available in clear 33 expansion and amber 51 expansion borosilicate glass. Open top vials come assembled with polypropylene caps with low-bleed 0.125" PTFE/silicone septa inserted (.135" septa for E-series vials). Sizes are 20mL, 40mL, and 60mL.

Scintillation Vials
SCINTILLATION VIALS from QEC are manufactured of low-potassium low-background borosilicate glass, with closely-controlled wall thickness. Uniform wall thickness is invaluable for reliable counting reproducibility.
Liquid scintillation counting (LSC) is the standard laboratory method to quantify the radioactivity of low energy radioisotopes, primarily beta-emitting and alpha-emitting isotopes. Sensitive LSC detection method requires specific chemical combinations to absorb energy into detectable light pulses.
