  • monodisperse polymer particles with a very high density of iminodiacetic acid (IDA)-groups or NH2 groups on the surface
  • a mean particle diameter of about 300 nm
  • a very high binding capacity for trace metals (e.g. Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd, Pb, U) in neutral to basic pH-range,
  • bind e.g. about 200 µmol Nickel(II)-ions per g of IDA-latex.
